Microscopic colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease characterized by a macroscopically normal colonoscopy and typical histological findings. Drug-associated forms are common, but only rarely reported in association with Levodopa plus Dopa decarboxylase inhibitor therapy. This case report describes a 73-year-old patient with Parkinson's disease and chronic diarrhea in whom complete symptom resolution occurred after discontinuation of Levodopa/Benserazide and switching to Levodopa/Carbidopa. The case highlights the importance of medication review in Parkinson's patients with chronic diarrhea.
