Source abstract
Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant pediatric brain tumor. While recent advances in molecular subclassification and therapies have improved clinical outcomes, standardized international treatment guidelines are currently lacking. In this context, the Korean Society for Pediatric Neuro-Oncology (KSPNO) developed the 2025 National Cancer Treatment Guideline through a multidisciplinary task force, employing rigorous PICO-based literature reviews and evidence grading (e.g., ROB 2.0, GRADE). This framework aims to standardize diagnosis, staging, and treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy) to promote evidence-based care in Korea.
